the most disturbing thing

Postby LA_Mustang » Fri Sep 23, 2016 9:56 pm

About the Morris era is not the record (horrible), not the attendance (turrrrble), his QB (who a lot people still defend. Good luck) but we are pretty talented and he has zero confidence in our team. That was the most conservative game by a HC I've ever seen. We could've been in this game with an aggressive game plan. I have less confidence in this team and program now than ever since CM took over, and it was all based on the HC's decisions.

Going to be tough if the offense does not get going.

Okay. We've been young, next year it will happen for twenty years.

Imagine knowing you'd be saying that a year ago today.

The way Morris is calling the game is doing Hicks no favors

In what way do you mean? I think he definitely should have gone for that 4th and 2 that Josh missed the kick on

30 point TCU lead and it is not all the defense's fault.

The offense doesn't look good. It has regressed.

Hicks has had many chances to make big plays but is not accurate. Go back and watch the tape to see how many deep throws he airmailed...this could have been a great game if he had made a few good throws early

Hicks is also a RS Freshman and Hill is a senior, correct?

nobody ever claimed Davis was the answer. His ability to run helped keep some games competitive but he did not see the field well and didn't throw well. I saw a lot of missed opportunities tonight because Hicks airmailed most of his deep throws. I will at least give him credit for finding guys who were open, but he missed at least 2 long TD opportunities tonight

If you are the coach and your plan is to move to a bigger program/bigger conference, coming up with a team of young players that can't execute your plan is a nice excuse to have when the big dogs come calling.
