Uniforms are the best they've been by about a mile since I started following SMU football (fall of 2007 - freshman year)

Personally I hated the uniforms. We had dark blue helmets that were totally undistinguished and you could not see the red mustang on the side. I was up 20 rows behind the team and asked roughly 10 people sitting around me if they could see the red mustang. All answered that you could not tell the helmet had the red pony and was not attractive. Looked like some second class high school helmet. Blue uniforms were bland and had no real appeal. Too much same blue look and nothing stood out. The blue uniform should have the classic white helmet and our pants should be white with a side stripe bringing the attention to the blue top.
