Clearly. How did we not at least sign 1 alternative last year? Anyone would've been better.

Why don't we just run some new offense that doesn't need a QB?
Isn't that the kind of stuff you hire an offensive guru for?

He might do fine at FCS level

I really don't get how anyone can say he is improving. He has missed on so many game changing throws it's ridiculous.

I've said it here before. I could see it in his first spring game after early enrollment.

We have to be patient and can only hope he improves because unless he gets hurt, it appears Chad will be sticking with him this season. I give Hicks credit for some of his reads, but he just doesn't throw a tight spiral and is not very accurate. Don't know if that will ever change

Nah. Mitchell and padron at least threw touchdown passes before departing

Maybe Hicks was supposed to be more of a project quarter back. He is unexpectedly the starter after all

Has Hicks thrown a TD pass yet?

I think the stats I saw on the first drive were 2 TD's 5 picks.

2; one vs. UNT, another vs. Baylor.
He has not thrown a TD in our last two games. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not trying to down Hicks but I wonder if HCCM would consider playing Simpson.
