Pony NATE-tion: Offense needs to help defense in AAC opener

Our man Nate is back as the Mustangs gear up for Saturday's American Athletic Conference opener Saturday at Temple. He focuses on the improvement the defense has shown through the first four games of the 2016 season, but said one of the biggest keys going forward will be if the offense can stay on the field long enough to reduce the strain on the SMU defense. Temple lost some strong player's from last year's defense and plays at a slower pace than many of the up-tempo offenses in today's college game. So can the SMU offense turn the tables and wear down the Owls' defense?
