Played at the Cotton Bowl today and 17 of the 22 starters in the game were from.Texas. That is hard to believe. And a total of 51 Texans on both rosters combined.

No both schools recruit Texas hard-I'd bet Air Force offered about 1/3rd of our players-both Navy and Air Force offer more players than any other Division 1A programs because of their Prep Academies and unlimited scholarships-that's one reason Navy doesn't mind playing in the West Division-they usually have more Texans than from any other state

13,000 in the Cotton Bowl is not a pretty sight. I speak from experience

I'd say maybe 7500 total based on that pic. No bueno.

Ford Stadium is all we need, plus some given the current state of the program. It was embarrassing playing in front of those sparse "crowds" in the Cotton Bowl. It's bad enough at Ford when the place is half empty.

That's just sad, and how in the world did Navy lose to AF? They have dropped 2 in a row to Wyoming and now NM.

It's sad that SMU fans talk smack about any school's football attendance.

The experience I was talking about was us. We played in the CB when I was there and would draw about 13,000 when we played NM

It looks like a lot UNM fans were escaping the Texas sun under the east deck - the cadets marching in before an Academy game is always a sight to see.Image

Switch the TCU game to a "neutral site" game and play it every year the week before or after UT-OU at the Cotton Bowl during the fait.
