Gutsiest call?

A lot of calls worked out last night, obviously. But how about the decision to invite somewhere around 300 recruits to a game against the No. 11 team in the country? As it worked out, it was brilliant — those players saw the Ponies play a terrific game, the crowd was loud, the fans stormed the field, etc.
But what if the game had gone the other way, especially if it was lopsided in UH's favor?
Hats off to the coaches for swinging for the fences on this one ... and delivering.

good timing for sure and good to see the team back up coach by playing their guts out. But wait...footballdad says Morris was shameful for calling his guys out after Temple and was pretty sure they would quit on him the rest of this year

long list of great recruits including a bunch of 3 and 4 stars-but remember we are basically recruiting the 2018-19 classes now-great introduction to SMU campus. This staff recruits these kids for 3-4 years

I certainly agree that the call of the night was to have the recruits at the game. But I would like to add a (less) gutsy call was made on the field and I doubt it was made by the coaches but by a player. The fake punt was most likely an option play and the punter had his head in the game. I loved that response last night.
