Report: Miles to interview for Houston job

This could be a homerun hire if Miles could find a decent OC. I've got to imagine he's got recruiting contacts already in place, all he has to do is find a way to capitalize on them.

Sorry. I don't see Miles bringing excitement to the 7-11 Stand.

Its interesting - because every LSU and SEC person I know thinks he is a joke - but he has a good rep with anyone outside that circle. Its certainly no certain thing pick.

LSU is spoiled. They think that winning 10 games in a row is a birthright - those morons rioted in the streets when they were 5-0 a few years ago. Completely spoiled.


Les may be a goober, and he needs to evolve but he could do damn well at Houston. Outside of actually having to play them I hope they hire him.

Miles is not a bad coach, but he likes to play a style that I don't think would go over well at the 7-11. Going all the way back to Bill Yoeman, they win when they have innovative offensive minds in charge. A guy with a conservative philosophy and a temperament is probably not a good fit for them.
