Re: Former SMU coach gets both promotion & new jobHe might be one of the first former SMU football coaches to get a job coaching in the college ranks. The others are mostly high school coaches now. Saw that Dennis McKnight is a head football coach for some catholic high school in California. June Jones was promoted to AD at the high school with the option to become head coach.

Ramon Flanigan at Lamar Adrian Klemm UCLA and all that entails Randall Joyner at Ohio State (GA?) Derrius Bell w Mason at UTEP Hal Mumme at that NAIA school, took Timmy Chang with him Larry Edmondson has been at Rice awhile Jim Gush was at UTSA w Coker Rusty Burns was at TCU And Phil Bennett , now back on the market

Our kids went to the same school, so I always enjoyed talking to him about Mustang football. Good guy and very deserving.
