Congrats!!! I think SMU athletics has been hitting a sweet spot in the last few years for enrolling and graduating student-athletes that represent the university in a positive manner. Credit to the Coaches like Jank and Chad who are recruiting and developing these athletes who we can be proud of both on the field/court and the classroom.

Congrats to all the grads and thank you coaches and Educational staff. We don't need thugs to win.

I've thought the same thing as the OP. Just surveying the realistic options, Texas Tech is the most likely team to poach him as there's a good chance they let KK go and have already shown interest in Chad when he was more unproven. I think if he's going to go to A & M, it's going to be from his next spot. Sorry if these thoughts bother you guys, just being realistic. I don't see him back after next year. As Stallion says, at least we know what to look for now in a head coach, and IF this happens I have full confidence in our AD.

what does this have to do with the topic at hand. We may lose Chad, but it won't be to god forsaken Tech.

Oh I wouldn't be so sure about that-Lincoln Riley was the target before he got the OU job but I'd bet he is the No. 1 candidate now

Lubbock is where careers go to die. Chad ain't dumb. He can wait for the right slot.

Back to the original topic - all true, but FB has yet to show the progress that will sustain the SMU program. This season is incredibly critical to keep SMU with any forward momentum. P5 is all about FB - it simply has to improve

OP was about an SMU football player getting into Cox School of Business

SMU2P5 is a slogan which doesn't seem to have much support right now from our deep pocket alumni-and that's all right as long as long as everybody understands the school's limitations. We'll go as far as our alumni, family and friends are willing to pay for
