The competent QB comment is telling. Other coaches in the conference aren't convinced that Hicks is the real deal.

2 new Jucos on campus.........obviously Morris not convinced either! Going to be a very short leash on Mr. Hicks if he ends up the starter coming out of camp.

“Tommy Tuberville never really fit the Ohio culture,

He did not fit in the Auburn or Texas Tech culture. Where exactly does he fit it?

Juco & transfer, my bad. Same thing...........Morris out looking for older seasoned guys to hopefully replace Hicks.

Actually, Hicks is the most seasoned QB in the stable. I don't believe any other QB on the roster has taken a single snap in a D1 football game. I don't think Morris's agenda is "...looking to replace Hicks."
I think the agenda is improving QB play. Seems they're taking a fair look at all of them and will play the one they feel offers best chance to win games. Might be HIcks. Might not be Hicks. We'll know in a few weeks.

But, see, I don't think it is. They know damn well what we've got coming in for QB's and now they are nervous. The next line says that this is our year, so I think that coach realizes that, at least offensively, we're about to explode.

Also, note that he says that our O-line is good. That isn't calling out our QB's, that's pointing out we're ready to roll.
