Has anyone seen/heard any commercials, ads or billboards promoting the upcoming season?

I live in Dallas and the only promotion I have seen is
- Courtland Sutton getting gas at 9am on a Saturday looking like megatron.
- the Ticket 2minute drill segment
- schedule banners hung up on Ford.

We must be out of money; hopefully, not out of ideas. There is the Chris Chris commercial on
The Ticket.

The Ticket 2-minute drill is the only promotion I've heard. We have our most talented, exciting and marketable player since ED in Courtland. Courtland's face should be on every billboard around the city we can afford. There should be constant socail media blasts going out about him and the team. Get Temerlin at the school to produce a commercial and buy cheap rotators on the local and cable channels, and youtube.
We should have one of the more exciting offenses around that casual football fans would love to see but if they don't know about it, they won't come. I know a big part of it is money but if SMU can't raise a modest advertising budget, we're doing something wrong. Someone should be responsible for hitting up big donors to fund a modest ad plan. It wouldn't be hard to sell or execute. I've worked in advertising my whole career, I know.

Can't we just bump the 6 billion other threads on this topic? Also, billboards don't work.

I spoke to an ATT service rep today and after finishing and her saying she was in Dallas I told her that she and her entire family were required to attend SMU home football games. She said ok. So do not say there is no marketing,

Sorry. I hadn't seen anything on the topic in a long time and I thought this would be the year we would have some kind of marketing plan with a much better team and very unappealing home schedule. If ever SMU needed to market the team, this is the year.
It's been the elephant in the room for over 20 years and nothing ever changes. Last time I'll start a thread about it I promise.

I wonder if SMU SID can shed any light on any efforts planned or underway.

When the team is good you get free marketing. I bet that is what they are counting on

Tell that to Russ Potts. He had a team 10x more talented than this one.
But what did he know.
