The moderators are welcome to move this, but only traffic seems to be here.

My son, now a freshman in the Mustang Band, started a heart foundation (Jeffrey Has Heart) after his open heart surgery, largely inspired by Coach Morris and the generosity of the SMU community. The mission is to help children awaiting heart surgery and their families with meals, gifts, lodging with acts of encouragement to help them through a stressful time.

One of our first recipients, baby CT, is awaiting a heart transplant in Houston, along with several other babies and kids. They cannot leave Houston, as that will knock them off the transplant list, and several of the heart families lost everything this past weekend. Our intention is to help them with simple necessities right now - food, diapers, clothing, lodging. If you are moved to give, please do so at:

Thanks and peace to all.

Absolutely. It's a great cause for hospitalized kids that may be forgotten in all of this.
