University South Florida is 21 in the AP amd 20 in the coaches poll.

Houston and Navy are RV in both polls and University Central Florida is RV in the coaches poll.

If TCU wins at the Hogs they will probably be top 15. Coming for you lil froggies.....

We've already got national buzz with Courtland, and then Wyatt won national defensive player of the week last week. If we handle our business against UNT like we should I bet we might be able to snag a vote or two going into the TCU game

I don't think we will receive votes after UNT....even if we handle them like we need to. A strong showing against TCU followed by a solid win over Arky St. would get us there.

And I believe that would only be true if TCU beats Arkansas this week, and of course we must beat NTSU.

Even if we're 4-0 we will receive 0 votes.

All it takes is one sympathetic voter- maybe a voter who's in tight with A&M folks and wants to bolster Chad's perception for the job . Didn't we get a vote for two last year after beating UH when we were 4-4 or something? This years team is better

Beating SFA, NTSU and a player earning defensive player of the week, sounds like the kind of resume voters look for when voting. good grief.

How about we aim for top 50 first and not sympathy votes when we're 3-4?

I say we are undefeated and only 50% of the schools that played last week can say that.
