PonyFans.com is proud to announce a new partnership with the Dallas Morning News, under which each media outlet will conduct a Q&A about the Mustangs and publish it during the week.

PonyFans.com will be presenting questions each week to DMN beat writer Adam Grosbard, and we welcome submissions from all PonyFans. To enter a question for consideration, either send it to me in a private message or post on the football message board.

Among the topics this week:

Is the Mustangs' 3-1 record indicative of genuine improvement?
Who has been the team's biggest surprise through the first four games?

It's great to have so many good back up receivers but if they are rotting on the bench when other positions are weak then you have to wonder if we didn't over recruit that position needlessly.

Geez No

I guess its been so long since we've built a strong team that we forgot what a depth chart for a strong team looks like

Give me a 4th string Reggie Dupard at RB--then you just reload when the Stars graduate or turn pro. When you get to a point where a guy that rarely played in his first 3 years turns into an All-Conference player in his 5th year then you know you've made it. Happened all the time in the Good Old Days.

I don't agree with Stallion that often, but you're spot-on with this one.

Depth in our strongest positions over depth in our weakest positions-I'll take depth where we are most vulnerable any day.
