That's the kind of play that can turn a season. Lots of confidence right now with this crew, and they enjoy playing for this staff and each other. Should be pretty fun next couple of games.

Talk it up, we'll need everyone's help on a Friday night.

That was an amazing play to see. It was right in front of us at the Nippert. Never heard a stadium go so quiet that quickly when Quinn caught the ball. Great play.

From today's DMN
"Anticipating that Cincinnati would line up in a prevent defense, quarterback Ben Hicks planned to use his feet to extend the play and give his receivers time to find space. He rolled to his right, nearing the sideline and line of scrimmage simultaneously. Hicks paused to gather himself and saw Trey Quinn open. Hicks unleashed the ball and Quinn made his 17th catch of the game. First down."
Well done, Ben.

And that's why Morris starts Hicks. He read the defense, knew the line of scrimmage, and hit the receiver. Good job, Ben.

Not exactly Grantland Rice but we'll take it:
''Outlined against a blue, gray October sky, the Four Horsemen rode again. In dramatic lore, they were known as Famine, Pestilence, Destruction, and Death. These are only aliases. Their real names are Stuhldreher, Miller, Crowley, and Layden. They formed the crest of the South Bend cyclone before which another fighting Army team was swept over the precipice of the Polo Grounds this afternoon

That throw and catch is a Top 5 play post-DP.
The play itself was amazing, it's the reason we won that game and it sets us up to go back to a bowl. Just massive.

As a Packer fan, 4th and 26 stirs up bad memories of McNabb to Freddie Mitchell. Nice to be on the right side of a 4th and 26 conversion.

I relate it to the 3rd or 4th and 33 that Houston had against us a few years back when we got our hands on the QB in the end zone and he got a pass off for a 40+ yard gain an ultimately the win. It showed me the mind set of both Houston and SMU. This time we are the team on the right side of the play. Big confidence and maturity builder.

I can't think of a better catch off hand. Incredible considering the db was riding his back. Massive props to Hicks also for a perfect throw.

that catch by Jeremy Johnson with the cross field pass from Garrett Gilbert- tip-toeing the endline against Rutgers(?) at the end of regulation might be a tad better but...

Another nominee for greatest catch in SMU History-Jerry LeVias great catch from Inez Perez in corner of the endzone to beat Texas A&M at Kyle Field on the final play of the game-was on National TV. I've seen it before but it needs to be permanently saved on the internet

Yeah, it's pretty solid. Can't remember where I found the clip, but I listened to it after the game.
