Well like a lot of people said, Chad was primarily recruited because of what he did at Clemson. It was supplemented with, as Arkie fans put it, “SMU sucks and Chad did a really good job with that.”

I also agree with Reinebold. Through year 3, Jones had more success at SMU than Morris. Both inherited teams that had won one game the previous season. That said coaching salaries are insane all around and just a sign of the times.

Since he was of the few people trying to recruit good players, I won't lay June's mess at his feet. A two man recruiting staff sucks.
