Not a traitor imo. Coach Dykes may have asked him to leave. We don’t know.

This is an intriguing development. I don't think something like this has happened since Brian Kelly did it with Cincy.

This could either go really well and help smooth things over with the players, or it could go horribly horribly wrong and sour the players before he even gets an offseason with them.

It certainly makes the game wayyyyyyy more interesting.

much better than having those scumbags from arky coach the game ( stepp). I am not overwhelmed with this hire but hope he will do well and continue our upward trend. we at ;east need to give him a chance. hope he will hire a really good staff and hit the recruiting trail quickly.

Does that ever happened? Seems like the risks are too high. Unless all the coaches quit and he had no choice. Maybe our AD didn’t want anyone on that staff.

How long do the coaches get to prepare the team in games like the senior bowl/Under Armor game, etc?

Since Dykes has coached at TCU I wonder if he will put the actual TCU 4-2-5 defense in place at SMU.

Dykes calls the offensive plays. Nobody has been calling the defense all season so no loss there.
