Both will lead their teams to bowl games next season.

Good question, let's compare schedules:
Arky (coming off of 4-8):
EASTERN ILLINOIS
at Colorado State
NORTH TEXAS
at Auburn
Texas A&M (Arlington, Texas)
ALABAMA
OLE MISS
TULSA
VANDERBILT
LSU
at Mississippi State
at Missouri
They should get all 4 OOC wins, and pick two more conference wins and against Vandy and a few other weakened SEC teams like Ole Miss it is VERY doable.

That road game at CSU will be much tougher than expected. It is only game 2 for Morris and the folks in Ft. Collins will be fired up to finally host an SEC team. Do not be surprised if that is one of the first "upsets" of 2018.

Arkansas beating A&M is the equivalent of what Houston Nutt was required to do in beating SMU.

Chad Morris has never been HC of a team in a bowl game. In contrast, Dykes will coach SMU in a bowl game in 7 days.

I would not automatically count on a Vandy win. They might go to a bowl before either of these two teams...

I think it’s embarrassing that a mid-tier SEC school would schedule
EASTERN ILLINOIS
at Colorado State
NORTH TEXAS
TULSA
as their non-conference opponents.

Saban is going to get it changed to being required to play only P5 schools. Not sure if he is working on that for NCAA or just SEC.

looks pretty tough for typical SEC non-conference-I love the late November SEC-Sun Belt Challenge myself

Arkansas has an almost guaranteed bowl game schedule and should easily get 6 wins. If Sonny can get this team to 6 wins next year given the way the schedule is set up, I think he will have done a really good job in a transition year

Those 3 games + Vanderbilt make up 4 of their 7 home games next year.
If I was a season ticket holder I would not be pleased.

I doubt Hog fans will be too disappointed as they will be witness plenty of wins at home next year. After this year, they just want to see their team win games...and ticket prices will not be "premium" priced for those non-conference games.
