not a bad regional home/home deal...not unlike playing Arkie State. I'd rather play games like this than Southland/FCS games but understand the latter are necessary when we take a road warrior/paycheck game like next year vs Michigan

All say this. We're slowly trending upward while most of the Big XII is trending downward or holding water. If we think Baylor or Tech is looking to schedule us in an OOC game keep dreaming.

Exactly. The problem with becoming a good AAC team -> many P5 programs don't want to risk playing you.
With the exception of TCU, we are pretty close to reaching the point where any P5 game will involve becoming a Road Warrior.

Is this a joke? La Tech has been a perennial bowl team for the last 7-8 years. It is relatively close to Dallas. They'll bring a good crowd to Ford. What is not to like about this?

No joke. TCU path to victory was with challenges morning this crap. Beat LA Tech isn’t going to move the needle for us. It will have the exact same effect as beating NTCC. Nothing. Losing? Makes you look like you are regressing.
