Lamar Hunt Statute faces away from the Field so he didn't have to watch that debacle

Silver Linings: the drive was shorter... um Ford is better than Toyota Park. Um, ED/CJ are alive and well and we can point to people of success for SMU football. Courtland going to the NFL. Van Malone fired tomorrow?

Saw Chuck Hixon at the game, not a player during my lifetime but pretty cool to see him...how sorry he must have felt to see that QB performance

I was planning on flying to Ann Arbor next September to see the Michigan game. I'm cancelling the trip and saving myself a couple of thousand bucks.

A number of promising recruits signed today; too late for them to weasel out.

Silver lining... I didn't waste my time watching the 2nd half and chose to watch hallmark Christmas movies that I generally hate with a girl I'm dating....

Lucky bastard. Hell I take an 8 hour man-hating movie series on LMN than being cold while watching a pony turned into glue.

Ha! I told myself that the original post was going to be my only post of the night but I'm right there with you watching "Christmas Cookies" on Hallmark because I know there will be a "happy ending". Not a damn thing we can do about tonite until Spring Practice.*

* There is a replay of the Greatest Frisco Bowl in history at 2:00 on ESPN if anybody feels the need to further analyze or critique our performance

It was already evident but this last season and the final game demonstrated the character of a great Mustang: Courtland Sutton.

Very best wishes to him going forward and also his classmates.

I am jealous. I got to see Lance McIlhenny and Mike Ford. Sadly ED jetted before halftime so I never got to see him lol!

It's basketball season and we actually have a talented enough team that they can compete with Top 25 teams and hopefully challenge for an AAC Championship

Prior to the game I bought Mike Ford a beer at the Omni bar. We enjoyed talking about those days at SMU. He asked about Clement Fox. Ford is a nice guy who Ron Meyer touted as a Heisman candidate when he signed with SMU.
