I stopped by the La Tech fan forum and scrolled down to their "SMU" forum. I took a look at they're posts, and quite frankly they think they're going to kill us. I'm not going to talk trash, but I just think they're flat misinformed about our talents on offense and defense, and its got me a little more pumped for the 1st. It also sounds like their defense is pretty bad.

My prediction: SMU 35 LaTech 17
Luke will throw 4 interceptions.

Louisiana Tech's scrimmage numbers give mixed results. You could be happy about the defensive performance. 8 interceptions and 8 sacks sounds great. Then again you could feel that this is a stong indication that the turnover woes that killed Louisiana Tech last season may rear their ugly head.

Will it be the team that scared Miami and Auburn, or the team that delivered 4 fresh interceptions to Hawaii and snatched defeat from the jaws of victory against UCF?

If the turnovers are cut down, your defense will have a hard time stopping Tech's offense ... but that is a BIG if. The defense seems better but I will not be sold until I see some results on the field.
