Seems the SEC media days guide for their week of media attention going on now in Atlanta, has the section with Chad showing his picture with the Peruna mascot. Lots of mad Razorbacks.

I will find it. I do not think it is the actual guide but it is some publication put out at the convention by the SEC Network.

I have been corrected. It was something on the SEC Network with the SMU logo, not the media guide.

WTF lol. Probably an advertising aggregate choice for things they've already been searching for.

After watching a couple of minutes of his clich'es, one thing stands out.....Since the day he was hired at SMU, the used car salesman has lost a lot of hair.

It is interesting listening to him talk. He is trying to repeat a lot of the stuff when he came on board at SMU, but it isn't at the same level of sincerity.
It is odd to watch him because it comes across as almost desperately trying to retain his street cred as a high school coach.
This is where not finishing the job at SMU is really going to hurt him. After the transition, he should be pointing back at SMU as a proof point that he turned a program around, establishing himself as a great college coach, and minimizing the high school coaching thing.
Instead, he is doubling down on being a former high school coach, with no mention of successes at SMU.
That isn't going to end well for him. But more importantly, as much as a sunshiner as I am, it has me worried. I've carried a "wait and see" attitude, for this upcoming year, because this is when his supposedly great recruiting should come out and shine. It gives me hope. That said, if I were in his shoes, I would be promoting the hell out of what I did at SMU and how good they are going to be this year, to show how effective I have been in the college ranks and continuing the story from Clemson. The fact that he isn't doing that may very well be a strong indicator that his recruiting was not as effective as we thought, and that there are a ton of holes right now...

The day Turner introduced him with the AD as head coach he said that he was a high high school football coach and I remember the look on Turner's face it was pretty classic. Saw that in person

I watched the whole thing. Here is what I learned:
0 mention of SMU.
Chad was originally going to be an actuary.
Tempo does not means fast. It means the ability to go fast or slow.
