SMU quarterback Ben Hicks visited with the media to discuss the start of preseason workouts, including his offseason workouts, the differences between the new SMU offense and the previous offense, and three new transfer receivers.

WE are always hungry, With the O-line all being close to 300 is due to summer in the new weight program. Yeah. Hopefully the D-line put some good weight on also.

Feeling better about this team. Not saying a great season but not a drastic down year.

Ben is smooth and polished....so glad we have him...but he better stay healthy or we are in a very large heap of trouble...with DJ Gillins already transferred, Rafe no-where to be seen...and the other guys (Upshaw and Brown) having never taken a game snap in college football.

We are fortunate, and so is Ben Hicks, that the coach before last has not been given a second chance.

Hicks could probably anticipate being issued a jersey with a WR if not a DL number.

But Peavy is still on the roster if absent from practice...Is he truly gone or excused?

but was hoping he might stay
do we know where he is going?
wow Ben better load up on his vitamins and extra padding
we can not afford Ben being out especially in games we are favored
