I love how all of the writers keep acting like this was a close shootout last year...we were up 47-17 until the 4th when we gave everyone playing time and still scored another TD with a back-up QB. I agree. Our defense will be good this year ! If we don't turn it over several times , and get decent quarterback
play, we win going away in the 4th quarter.

The description of the offense shows that the writer doesn't know much about this year's team. I usually like what CFN puts out, but this isn't a good assessment.

I'm not saying the defense will be top 10, but it will be significantly better this year. UNT is pointed in an upwards direction, but so are we, and I think our transfers are better than theirs. SMU will win.

That's not true, we were a lot worse than anyone ever thought we would be.

the performance was horrific, but 0-1 is still 0-1
