Well done Mr. Hicks

Say what you want about his judgement but Ben HIcks showed what it is to be a leader and team player today. It can't be easy to be benched after two years of starting and to watch a true freshman come in and start, but I'm not aware of any complaining he did and he came in and calmly won the game in OT.
Nice job.

Good job at clutch time, indeed. Hey, if Clemson and Alabama (and Navy & others) can play two QBs and make it work, maybe SMU can, too. After all, it is a team game.

Well done, Mr Brown, for putting us in a position to win (and he did win us the game ... the blocked PAT is what put us into OT). I really hope Brown remains the starter.

Great touch by Hicks on the winning score - Navy came within a fingernail of batting it down.

Agreed. What a night and day difference. I’m hoping he’s finally out of Dec-17 so we can have a competitive QB rotation. Brown is definitely the future but it’s finally nice to see we have the real Hicks back.
Well done everyone besides our kicker. However if it wasn’t for him, we wouldn’t have the exiting 2 point conversion.

We have a legit QB controversy on our hands?

No controversy. Play them both. No big deal.

Both should get a lot of play time vs. H.B.U.

Start Brown let him get as much experience as possible against HBU and later bring in Hicks.

Ben Hicks' photo on today's ticket... Pointing to the receiver on the 2-point winning play. Check it out.

Totally agree. It's not like we're risking alienating Andrew Luck or something. They both have ability, and the competition should make them play harder and/or smarter. Use them both.
Tip of the hat to Ben for coming in out of the bullpen today and getting the save, as it were. Big-time performance.
