DMN is cluelessArticle in this mornings sports section says Houston is undefeated in C-USA. I tried to find the article on line, but I don't have an electronic delivery subscription.
Just send 'da money.
Re: DMN is cluelessWell technically they are correct. They will also end up undefeated in CUSA.

That was not the print version. The bold headline even said C-USA. Just send 'da money.
Re: DMN is cluelessthere is a reason it is now a dying industry...
Lowest common denominator is poor research, and lazy writing. stable-boy for the four horsemen of the apocalypse

Re: DMN is cluelessDon't worry. Those of us that still read print versions forget what we read shortly after doing so.

Page 6CC. Maybe they go to 2 bowl games? Interns at work.
Re: DMN is cluelessMorning snooze has been clueless for years. Once the Times Herald went down and there was zero competition...
Re: DMN is clueless
Yes, but when that 1st happened and the DMN had both Blackie and Skip, I thought they had one of the best sports sections of any paper in the country...but times do change. Charlotte's "paper" is horrible even by comparison with Charleston's (those are the only 2 I can comment on in the last 10 years). I won't even talk about Detroit where they no longer publish daily
Re: DMN is cluelessFailing DMN
Re: DMN is cluelessVicious cycle... People don't read newspapers like they used to, so ad revenue (based on volume of readership) plummets. Layoffs, especially at the more senior levels, replaced by lowest common denominator (i.e. whoever will accept the salary) and local knowledge replaced by the national newswire.
That's why you get some photos from the game and a half dozen captions as the DMN game summary as opposed to 3-4 in-depth articles these days. Sad, but it's one of those "you get what you pay for" scenarios. "It's a couple hundred million dollars. I'm not losing sleep over it." -- David Miller
