Jets LT Kelvin Beachum honored by NFLPA for work with food banks

Sometimes, the best contribution a football player can make does not take place on the field.
Jets left tackle Kelvin Beachum was recognized for his outstanding work outside of football this week. Specifically, Beachum was named the Week 6 NFLPA Community MVP for leading World Food Day Match Challenge that accumulated $71,590 for five food banks. Beachum himself donated $46,000 for 337,892 meals for those in need.
