I finally got up the nerve to look up the standings of the AAC to see who was playing UCF in the Championship game. I happened to notice that had we have beaten Cincy (which we gave away) and lowly Tulsa we would be sitting at 6-2 and traveling to Orlando this weekend.

Such is the life of an SMU fan.

We are ranked 100+ in the country. We have no business being in a P6

conference championship.

Cincinnati didn't hurt our championship opportunity per se because they are in the East. It was really the Memphis and Tulsa losses that did it. We no longer controlled our destiny with the Memphis loss.

Cindy spoiled my chances in 1975...

But yeah, bowling is better than not bowling. Practices, rehab time, and even if it is Frisco, you can find some fun.

Hadn't seen Mike Ford or Stank in quite some time. That alone was worth the trip.
