We have often bitched about the DMN not giving us any coverage. Their new SMU beat writer, Sam Blum, is working over time. Last week there was an SMU article every day and almost as much the week before. It's almost like we are the Dallas home team. He has done a great job giving us some relevance. Go Sam!

I don’t like Blum. He seems to go out of his way to find reasons to take potshots at SMU.

I’m not following here ECM. I’ve read them all and I can live with a potshot occasionally in exchange for the really great coverage. And yes, he is very responsive to emails.

Monday morning paper - all about the Cowboys except full half page above the fold about T J McDaniel with large color photo on the back page. Nice job Sam. Thanks!
