No, I call BS. Look at Wake Forest's wins and they are not as good as ours.

I've reversed after thinking about it. While a tremendous feat, it was a rivalry game and the voters know it. They're probably agreeing that TCU was missing a big component (QB) and the teams they beat was FCS and a similar QB situation.
Honestly, we probably wont get into the top 25 until (hopefully) beat USF and Tulsa. Anyways we are close and still huge progress all considering the last few seasons. Just got my hopes up when I saw Brett's votes and 247 estimates.

Whether or not a win over USF gets the Ponies into the Top 25 really just depends on losses above, and whether anyone just below rockets up with an impressive win over a current Top 25 team. Once teams are firmly on the radar, as we are at #28/#29, it's really just a reranking each week based on who lost above you.

I'm not sure that will do it, unless SMU crushes both teams. Part of the rankings is where a team starts the season, and SMU was not on the radar of any voters at the beginning of the season. I wonder if it will take beating Memphis to get into the top 25.

Well moving Okie St ahead us after a loss is kinda sad but I'm hoping that TCU and the others actually start crushing it. I agree. We have to beat both teams by more than 2 TDs to have a chance and the others above us to lose.

Yup. We need others to lose, but if we keep winning, it will force people to take notice.

Anyone remember how long ago we were in the bottom 5?
Let's enjoy the ride and not worry about how others perceive how nice a ride it is.
BEAT USF!!

I certainly am enjoying the ride, let's just get thru the next two and then it gets a lot tougher. Rankings will take care of themselves as long as we win.

I remember how we were last and another decade where we were essentially only ahead of one team, New Mexico State.

I think I saw something on twitter that one of the AP voters had us high as #19.
Sadly the beat writers for temple and uconn like to backstab.
