Yikes.... makes you wonder what this means for their future. Do they even have a decent #2 QB?

Eh... we got a lot of game where I can see a bad performance leads to a loss. I think the only ones that we can somewhat pencil in, especially now, is UH and ECU.

I really think:
- USF is going to come out hot against us. #3 on the scary list.
- Tulsa always gives us their best shot to ruin our seasons. (thankfully @ home)
- Temple is bi-polar. Which one are we going to get? (Thankfully @ home)
- Houston, with this news, hopefully is a comfortable win
- Memphis, at this point who knows what our record is but say it's undefeated, we could get Gameday in Memphis. #1
- ECU, should be a win
- Navy @ Navy is probably #2 on the running scary list.
- Tulane, thankfully at home, hopefully caps an amazing season but always a tough one.

Outside of those two games, we have a tough conference schedule. No bye game with UCONN

Would be a mistake to think Houston will be an easy win especially in Houston. Looks like they will be down to 2 Sophs or a Frosh (coach's son?) at QB but they still have a lot of talent on their roster

Immediate future is grim, him bailing on them like this will probably kill team chemistry and the backup is mediocre at best. Of course if Holgorsen gets the right guy in the portal they could bounce back next season.

ou has a bit of history of bringing in transfer QBs with Heisman hopes their senior year and turning out winners...

Not saying there is anything shady going on, but also not saying there isn't....

They were built for a power spread. The offense wasn't a great fit for King and he will have offers everywhere as a GT. I'm sure there will be others.

All of that said, the cupboard isn't bare there. They will find a way to finish .500 in conference. Everyone in the west will end up with at least 2 conference losses.
