The dark SMU side of me is getting pessimistic about this game. Old SMU would rip my heart out with a loss in this game. I want to be positive but I've seen too much over too many years.

I think this will be a very close game, but Ponies will pull it out in the end (I hope).

I think pretty much every game including this one is going to make us nervous. We've never been in this position before and we are just all waiting to trip like when JJ quit and we got humiliated by USM to start the downfall of the 2011 season.

From the play by play of their last game, it seem like FCS team could not hold onto the ball at all giving USF numerous opportunities to score. I would hope that our OL can hold off USF defense for that not to happen to us. Anyways, literally every game is going to be a nail biter till it isn't. ECU is probably the only game where I can say we should win confidently.
