Hey, no one had started the thread yet!

PLENTY of tickets left at reasonable prices. SMU will be on the East sideline and prices for those sections (lower level) range from $12-$19 near the endzones to $20-$50 near midfield (on StubHub). I believe for previous games, most SMU fans were in sections 132-134. https://www.stubhub.com/south-florida-b ... hFees=true

We should set up a gofundme for caravan of student road trips by car. Pay for gas, food, cheap lodging, tickets. If you swap drivers every few hours, it can easily be done. What a great college memory and time of bonding.

Dallas to Tampa, 16 h 19 min (1,138.4 mi) via I-10 E.

My freshman year, 7 of us piled into a car to drive to Austin for the Texas game. Due to being under age, coupled with no room in the car, we kept a cooler of beer in the trunk. Between pulling over every time someone needed another beer and pulling over every time someone needed to pee, the trip took 7 hours. So you might build in some extra time to the trip.

Leave by noon CT Friday, gives them 26+ hours to get to Tampa. If any students are reading this, let's get it done.

Cigar City is a great brewery to visit if you're into that. Good for an afternoon excursion. And the drive over to Clearwater Beach for the Clear Sky Cafe is nice. Sit outside and then walk to the beach after dinner on Friday or Saturday night

USF announced 28,850 crowd. Presumably a lot of no-shows but it's tough playing in too big a stadium for your program. Thankful for Ford Stadium

Man it was hot in the sun the first half. We looked kinda gassed in the second half. Probably several hundred Ponyfans there. Not bad for us.
