So, Sunday I get a text that four Arkansas Mustangs are coming next weekend for the Tulsa game.
Does anyone have four tickets? - Not really looking for free tickets but I sit in 104 and the ticket office does not have any for sale there.

From what I can tell, Stub Hub and Ticketmaster have the same seats for the same price. Me thikings that the ticket office ties into both locations.

Assuming I am not on of the four from Arkansas (wish I could be there) I can send you a couple of end zone tickets. Is your email still the sbcglobal address? If so I can send them to you via email.

Just picked up two more tickets for this weekend. Ticket office said they had just opened up and had a ton of call back orders to fill.

Who here, was a Corner Stone ticket holder?
Man it feels good to be decent again. 61 new players and Dykes and staff. Masterful execution to overhaul so quickly.

Feels good to one that stuck with the team for 30 plus years.

Excuse my ignorance but what is a Cornerstone Ticket Holder? I suspect I was one as I signed on to help rebuild the old Ownby and had season tickets during the Pony Express Days.

From a long long time ago in my memory.
SMU was coming back to campus to start football again. Ownby stadium had not been used for quite some time and needed repairs and upgrades to be a qualifying stadium for the conference. Steve Wilenski (sp) was pres. of M-club and they sold a Cornerstone package to help raise money.
What it was, was 5 years of M-club and 5 years of season tickets all up front.
As a poor starving Dairy salesman I could not afford to participate. I was like 28 or so with kids.
Never forget, Jim Stucker (formerly with Borden Dairy) my general Manager at the time came into my office and dropped a package on my desk. He gave the whole deal as a bonus. FYI - He played Bball for Purdue University and knew I loved the mustangs.
