SI has us in the Birmingham bowl against Old Miss. That would be fun.

Had a great time in Birmingham last time. I would definitely make that trip again.

Would rather play in NOLA against Bama or Clemson for that Dr. Pepper thingy.

If that's the same Ole Miss I saw play vs. Cal and Memphis, I'll gladly take it!

It was great time. I still can't believe how many of us showed up. It was a very impressive turnout.

I've seen us listed in the Liberty, Frisco, Independence, and now Birmingham bowls. And for the record, it's nice that ESPN has us at a 100% chance to go to one.

But by god

It's hard not to see us making a run at 12-1 or 13-0

and making a play for the Cotton Bowl against, say, an 11-2 Texas.

But this discussion is a helluva lot more fun than lamenting the season midway through.

:)

Of all my collegiate experiences traveling to stadiums in 40 years that is the armpit of the universe sorry. It's where all the nobody's go to celebrate nothing. I would hope for better they're probably going to deserve it .

See, and that's the problem with the bowl thing for us.

We could very well win, say, 10 games and end up in an irrelevant bowl playing an irrelevant team when the team absolutely deserves more.

That's frustrating.
