Any news on ticket sales?

Seems like lots of buzz in town - I am hearing about SMU at every turn. Wonder if that has shown up at the ticket office yet and what they are seeing?
No idea if this is a good guess or not - but if we have even 2000 students attend and they have one parent each on average in attendance that is a pretty nice chunk right there in the east stands...

I think we will get decent student attendance and we will get our normal influx due to family weekend. I highly doubt we break 80% mark of real butts in seats of around 25k. I would be great if we did but I suspect the North-east and east sides of the stadium will be bare. It will take a YoY good seasons to get enough of the bandwagon Dallas fans to jump on.

Well even if only 17k show up, we have to remember that only 10k would have come if we were 2-3 with a couple of blowout losses like in years past. (I’m talking about actual people in the stands, which is a completely different number than announced attendance)

25k would be by far the best attendance we've had for Tulsa and would be a real plus for our guys

15,000 would be a good crowd for Tulsa if that’s actual butts in seats.

As of Wednesday, overall ticket sales were ahead of the north texas game. Over 1K tickets sold to parents coming in for the weekend. Hopefully, the product on the field will bring more of those butts off the boulevard and into the seats...

Don't start counting until five minutes left in the first quarter.
I'm fairly optimistic about a fairly decent crowd. Big Al's prediction is about right.
Add to the 18K about 3K kids on the hill, lol

Sonny seems very patient about crowd size. does not think it will happen overnight. it's a process.
