I know rest of CFB hasn't played this week...but still fun to see Nelson at #1 in sacks across all of CFB.

Dude fell behind the depth chart at Illinois, and now he leads the nation in sacks.

God Bless the Transfer Rule.

Nelson is a beast and a joy to watch his technique.

Making Nelson's numbers more impressive is the fact that he's not a normal edge rusher — he doesn't blitz/rush on every play. He has made an art form of the delayed blitz.

In position to become the single season sack leader. Seemed like he was everywhere against the Cougs. Had those QBs heads on swivels.

That first sack is awesome. He is out in coverage and when the QB changes his head position to look at the d-line, Nelson notices and goes on his own. Not a called play, just very heads up.

Pretty sure Kane had a player that led the country in sacks at Northern Illinois.
