Posted: Sat Oct 26, 2019 11:45 pmIf so, going to be a tough atmosphere. Though Iowa beat Iowa State with gameday in Ames, and I believe NDSU won today with gameday at SDSU, so not an impossible task.

World's largest outdoor cocktail party in Jacksonville would be the most desireable location for GameDay crew and FL/GA are the higher ranked teams, but CBS has the rights to cover that game and GameDay usually selects an ABC/ESPN game. Sure wish our game was at Ford because Dallas Hall would be a nice setting and with Pony Excess footage readily available to ESPN, SMU offers the best pre-game story. We'l know soon enough.

Posted: Mon Oct 28, 2019 8:47 amReading over on the Memphis message board that Tiger Lane in front of the stadium is difficult because so many things have to move. Sponsors have setups that Gameday would have to remove so I'm sure they are trying to figure all of that out. Also I'm sure being campus is not the best backdrop...can't imagine Memphis is good looking.

Posted: Mon Oct 28, 2019 12:05 pmMemphis has a decent looking campus, and I can imagine they put CGD on their main quad, much like they would put one at our school on ours. It will do fine. Frankly, as someone who grew up in Memphis and hopes the school benefits from this, it will be great for them and I hope they take advantage while we win.
