The writers of memphis are clearly missing the most important "thanks": SMU. Gameday is coming to Memphis because of SMU's success and the storyline. I don't think Gameday is there for Memphis and Army/Houston/East Carolina.

Of course SMU being undefeated is a major factor but Gameday passed on Dallas for SMU vs Temple and do you think they would have come for SMU vs ECU or Tulane? Bottom line is that this is good PR for the AAC if we hope to become more relevant in the college football world.

Yes, and I am STILL eyeing Nay. If we win and Navy somehow manages to beat Notre Dame - not unthinkable - then I can imagine Gameday going to Annapolis, too.

They usually do Army/Navy I believe so I doubt that would be the case.
