Can we take a minute and acknowledge how good this guy has been? Throws for 450+, no picks, 3 TDs and 2 punts, 1 of which corkscrews out of bounds at the 2 yard line. Fantastic performance.

And there were a couple more big time throws he made that were on the money and the receivers just didn’t pull them in. I knew he’d be good, but didn’t know he’d be this good.

Did you see the stone-cold look on his face when we were down 16 in the fourth quarter?
Dude was never out of it. That's why the team was never out of it.
God, thank you for sending us him. Guy's a baller.

Buechele is a special player. He is an excellent quarterback plus all the intangibles needed from a leader. He’s a true captain. Needless to say we’re lucky to have him.

Buechele has been terrific but he also has some really talented receivers helping him out at times. Just imagine the records he would hold if he had been here all along instead of Pick 6 Hicks

oh my if Hicks was still our QB And lots of real deals are sitting on the bench just because they got sold they were the best in the world, and would be starting for top 25 teams, and automatic playoff conferences
May the forth be with us.

Or imagine the numbers Buechele would have if he got to play with Proche and Roberson and Quinn and Sutton.

That was my point. He would have been throwing to NFL caliber receivers his entire time at SMU whereas at Texa$...

He's just one of those guys who make you feel that we're never out of any game. Haven't had that feeling from our QB position since maybe Justin Willis (?)
