A good bit of air out of the balloon, though.
Temple attendance was a disappointment, IMO.
Shoulda been over 3/4 full.
ECU? Don’t know - Homecoming or not.

Don't get excited on attendance. Even if we had won in Memphis, I really think attendance would remain fairly the same. I fully expect that we fill in the home side, sprinkle in the North part of the stadium, blank on the east side till you get to the student section.

Let's hope the current WFAA forecast (60 degrees, sunny) holds.

The only reason we would get 20k is because of homecoming. I dread the thought of possibly being 10-1 and playing at home for Thanksgiving against Tulane. That would be extremely deflating especially for those graduating on.

And that is exactly why the SMU job is such a challenging one for any coach...and why we need to pony up and pay a competitive salary to any coach we want to keep

I normally agree but the 11am start is a killer and the opponent isn't "competitive" in local's eyes. Also our Cinderella story ended (from their PoV). For reference, last year we had #17 Houston at 6pm and we had an okay showing then.

Visitors coming for game. Bought 8 extra tickets yesterday. Two other people were in line to get ticket at ticket office.
11 game is not good but we are planning on tailgate AFTER the game as well as before the game. Make your fun, don't choose to be a victim.

Who's calling themselves a victim?
