People have been worried about losing Kevin after this season, after these last 4 games, I don't think he is going anywhere.

All we need is a good grad transfer safety.

So we’ve narrowed it down to the safety now...

Don't get me wrong, I am a very big fan of coach Kane, but if you think one safety is going to fix this defense, I want some of what you are smoking! They have been giving up video game type yardage and points.

YEP
Good thing we have a stud like SB to overcome our defensive problems...
no way Pick6Hix could pull it off

If you don’t think a good safety would solve a lot of our issues, please pass your pipe.

If Milano Onu was here it would look different. But, we lost one great player to the portal and gained several, so can’t complain

Defense getting progressively worse. Not good. Two weeks to rest recover and reboot for Navy.

Well good news is Navy is #128 in passing yards (I believe that's the worst in the country or at least bottom 5). They're #1 in the country in rushing yards but thankfully we have a strong run defense.
Notables:
1) Lost to Memphis @ Memphis by 12pts. Didn't have gameday, homecoming or any hostile environment issues.
Conversely:
1) Destroyed ECU by 32pts
2) Destroyed Tulsa at Tulsa by 28pts
Now if I'm not mistaken ECU and Tulsa have some of the worst run defenses so that would explain the poor match up. Once we have score predictions, I still think we go there and win by a TD. This offense has proven that they can score even without Roberson.

Don't let Navy's passing stats fool you. They set you up demanding the D puts 8 in the box and then burn you over the top (not unlike yesterday). Good thing we have 2 weeks to prepare for them but our corners are going to have to play great man coverage

ECU did the same thing to Cincy.

Early in the season Kane was praised and Lashlee prodded. If they were stocks their trend lines would be crossing right about now. Funny how that works.
Looks like our staff stays intact.
Awesome!

True but that also requires the QB to be accurate on it. Most of the last couple of teams had good passing QBs. Not sure if Navys QB qualifies nor their WRs being extremely elusive and speedy.
I'm absolutely thankful for the bye week. It's very needed.

There is no doubt that our secondary is struggling. They'll get better. It might not happen in the next 3 or 4 (fingers crossed) ballgames. Kane's schemes are sound, and I think he calls a decent game most of the time. The style of defense he wants to play compliments Sonny's style of offense. We've just gotta get some cats back there in the secondary that can get the job done. That being said, having the opportunity to work fundamentals during the bye week could not have come at a better time!
If we can keep our entire staff together for another year, that would be huge.

Watched the Memphis Navy game and their QB was dropping dimes on Memphis
