Seems biased to not let us play a Florida team.
Great home schedule though!!!

Tough home schedule but that's what you want to be able to win the championship. I love to knock off Memphis and Cincy and play UCF for the championship. Let's hope and pray this was not a fluke year and is something that will continue especially with our fairly weak OOC.

After the way we e played this year, this schedule sets up nicely for a championship run!!!
Wish I was back in DFW for this home schedule!

With the departure of UConn from the AAC, there are eleven teams.
"The American will not have a divisional format for its 2020 and 2021 football seasons. The conference will determine the procedures for determining the participants in the American Athletic Conference Football Championship at a later date."

Probably means we will only get two OOC games with ten conference games.

No, they are sticking with eight conference games.

Our OOC games in 2020 are, in order,
At Texas State
SFA
At UNT
TCU
https://fbschedules.com/ncaa-2020/team/smuOutside of the dud of playing SFA - thank you Chad Morris - we have a solid home schedule next year and could be looking at playing 5 top 25 teams when we line up against them.

This gives them a way to keep us out if three teams are obviously the best.
I do wonder how they are going to pick opponents. I assume we will always have Houston and probably Tulsa and Memphis - but who knows???

I wonder if they are helping a bit with travel by not making us head out east 3 or 4 times.

Great schedule next year. All of the toughest games are at home w/ a good number of quality opponents.
None of the away games are automatic wins, but the teams we're playing at home are definitely the tougher bunch.

Agree that home schedule is strong and if the team is as successful as this year's team, season attendance record at Ford should be broken

Best home schedule in a while. That TCU game will be a sell out.
