If Shane can avoid picks, we should be able to pull this one out. I suspect that FAU will come out passing because everyone knows our pass defense is suspect (even Navy). So, we need to get some sacks and turnovers early.

If we dont win by 21, I'll consider it a loss. We are better than FAU. We are playing a coachless team. We are play unmotivated team having to play another home game as a bowl game.

SMU resorts to the three-man pass rush far too often in obvious passing situations. It's hard to play good defence when you are giving the opposing quarterback far too much time to find an open receiver.

Vivid seats still has a ton of seats available and I think TM does as well. It's going to be a poorly attended game unless something happens as predicted.

Believe SMU has sold about 1,000 seats directly.

That would really be frustrating. Why spread us out all over the place if only a few tickets have been sold?

I couldn't agree more. The strength of the team is the DL depth and our corners in bump and run. We should be pressuring in pass situations every time to get the ball out early. Otherwise the safeties and MLB get exposed.

Yep, a really bad look for when we want to go to a better bowl. People love to [deleted] but not help out.

I think bowls will know not to send us far because Frisco we filled in our half easily. I think the fan base (including me) have this in their minds:

1) Playing G5 opponent from CUSA...
2) Playing a coachless team
3) Expensive travel and not day trip-able

I'm sure there are others but those factors lead to a 1k purchase of tickets and I don't see this getting higher than 1.5k.

Many of us would love to go but this was one of the more expensive destinations. I’m glad many of you are able to drop a few thousand dollars on this trip right before Christmas, but the vast majority of fans don’t really have that flexibility.

It seems doubtful that any school outside of The immediate region would sell very many tickets.

If we get a bad bid next year because we didn’t travel well to the Boca Raton bowl versus FAU then we weren’t going to get a good bowl bid anyway.
