The reason this is on the football page? Thought this morning about Clement Fox, former Tight End (and famous for "The Block" in Austin in 1980) is also an MD down in the southern parts of Louisiana.
Like many folks that are in this field, they are being asked to literally put their lives on the line for the sake of others.
One retired MD and four retired nurses in the church I pastor have been asked to "re-up" due to increased hours and needs at local hospitals. These are folks that still have certs current, but have not practiced in the past few months. We gathered them together virtually and prayed for them as they began serving again.
That brought my mind back to Dr Fox...I somehow suspect that he (and others like him) will be making the initially unseen difference in this game as well.
