Dr. Jerry Clem, Team Captain, All-SWC and one year in the NFL, has passed away

I knew Dr. Clem from a very early age. I remember he, my father, Dr. Wayne Ligon and Dr. Harold Jeskey talking about things that happen when they played at a SMU.

One of the highlights of my life. Had arranged to meet Doak at the entrance of the locker room as he came down from Detroit.
He took me in and introduced me to a lot of the players. I think I got autographs from almost every player- Rote, Benners, Hightower, Ligon, Stollenwerck, Champion, Folsom, et al. Still treasure that program.
