SMU TCU Date Move Rumor

The twitterverse is a buzz that the SMU TCU game will be moved to Friday, September 11th so that the game can be broadcast in National prime time on Fox.
Would be great exposure if it happens.

Was hoping for the Fox Network, but not even the allure and importance of the Iron Skillet game can compete with WWE Smackdown! that will be on regular Fox at that time.

So Frogs cancelled, Frogs re-upped, now game is moved ... I understand that TV controls everything, but has SMU had a say in any of those moves?

Isn’t this one of the best, if not the best, OOC game left this year? I would think Saturday night prime time, after months of football fans wondering if they will even get to watch a football game this year, would be better.
