We do what we do. Our defense stinks so we have to outscore the opponent but it's tough when your fat boys on the OL have slow feet and can't protect your QB

Looking right now like this one could be over early. Pressure on the offense to light it up because our defense always makes an average offensive opponent look really good.

First-quarter stats for SMU - one first down, 26 yards total offence and 42 yards in penalties. Rushing yards -6.

Just like last year, as soon as we come up against another talented team we find this SMU team is not ready for prime time. Just hope we can turn things around tonight and become competitive. Otherwise, just hope we can at least keep beating the weaker teams and qualify for some random bowl game...but this program still has a long ways to go to be a legitimate Top 25 team

Offense totally out of it. Defense can’t stop a 3d and 13. I guess that’s better than last week.
