It's that time of year again folks. Navy stinks this year, but, we all know SMU's record against the Midshipmen. Will the team Shrink, be able to get this team to rebound, from the Cincy prison rape?

I think our guys will rebound and win a close game, once again proving that we can beat bad to mediocre teams but are just not a legitimate top 25 program. This game being played at Ford will be the difference.

Well, BYU beat them by 52 points, Air Force beat them by 33, Houston by 16 and Navy's 3 conference wins against ECU, Temple and Tulane have come by 4, 2 & 3 points, respectively. Let's hope this SMU team is at least as good as Houston

ESPN metrics were pretty spot on as I'm not going to count the last two Cincy touchdowns into the thought process but they predicted a Cincy win.
Whereas with Navy, we have a 80.5% vs 19.5% matchup predictor and we have a 14.5 point spread. Navy's defense looks pretty weak especially against the run which hopefully give us an advantage to be able to do more with our playbook. That's what people's analysis said was an issue against Cincy because they easily shut down the run.
I don't see anything scary with Navy as we have seen in the past. My prediction:

If we play like we did against Cincy we can lose to anyone. Have no idea what Jekyll or Hyde team will take the field on Halloween night. If both teams bring their worst effort I think our worst barely beats their worst otherwise it won't be close. More likely someone is winning by 30 points. Hope it is us.
