Biggest game of the season, Stangs are a 2 point underdog. Tulsa always gets out of their mind fired up for SMU, this will be no different. Many of their fans are saying, it's Tulsa's biggest home game in a decade. Tulsa has been the house of pain and sorrow for SMU in recent years, even in hoops, remember the disaster against USC?

This is another offense versus defense game, similar to Cincy.

We are the number 1 rated offense in the league on PPF; they are 3.

We are 7th on defense, they are 2nd. They are a very good at tackling and pass defense.

This is going to come down to whether or not our OL can win against their DL; otherwise, we are going to completely rely on our receivers to not drop passes.

SMU will need to score 35+ to win. I'll go with SMU, 37-31 because of our QB, but I understand why Tulsa is favored.

If we pin back our ears and play like we did against Navy, we should win this thing. If we play with our food like we did against Tulane and Temple, we will lose this one. Can't continue to play catch up in every game. We need to put the pedal to the metal in this one from start to finish. O Line needs to play the game of their lives so that we can balance our attack. If Levine and Bentley get holes this one will be a win because that will open up the passing attack and with our receivers, we are stacked and they can't cover them all especially if Bentley goes out of the backfield. So, I can't predict, which Pony team will show up?

With Cincinnati as our only true barometer, we've shown that we cannot be competitive against truly elite defenses. I am hoping the Tulsa defense is merely above average, so give me the Mustangs 30-27 in a game that contains several bumps along the way.
